Paul is a professional engineer with over 25 years of progressive and responsible experience in the AV industry. His experience encompasses a wide variety of projects including corporate, industrial, commercial, federal, house of worship, medical, educational, retail, sports, hospitality, themed entertainment, and high-end residential facilities.
From 1986 to 1996, Mr. Christopher was employed by Newcomb & Boyd, a highly-regarded multi-discipline consulting engineering firm, where he specialized in creating innovative acoustics, noise control, and audio-visual presentation system design solutions. In 1996 he joined the engineering team at AEI Music Network, a prominent national AV systems and content delivery company, engaged in and managing all engineering operations for the southeast regional office. In 2002 Paul was recruited and hired by Baker Audio, a well-known design/build systems integration firm in the Atlanta area, as a senior AV systems design engineer and acoustics specialist. In 2007 in order to explore new possibilities for professional growth, Mr. Christopher accepted a leadership position at a newly formed Atlanta area AV integration company - FOH Professional AV. He continued similar engineering and management experience at ProComm Audio-Visual which was formed by core personnel from FOH in 2008. In 2009 Paul began his own engineering practice based in Lilburn, GA.
Paul graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee in electrical engineering in 1984 and became a registered professional engineer in 1992, receiving a special qualification in Acoustical Engineering. From 1992 to 1995 he served on the Communications and Public Relations Committee for the National Council of Acoustical Consultants (NCAC). In addition, he has maintained close affiliations with other leading industry trade organizations, such as the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA), Acoustical Society of America (ASA), InfoComm International, and Syn-Aud-Con.
Mr. Christopher regularly participates in continuing education opportunities and attends industry-specific trade expositions to stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies. In 2004, he completed requirements of the primary industry certification program, earning recognition as a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) by InfoComm International. In 2012 he acquired the specialty "Design" level of the certification process, earning CTS-D.
